Hey, Bowie en Berlijn, dat is een super combi geweest. Peter Schilling werd hierdoor enorm beïnvloed met als gevolg een wereld wijde hit met het nummer Major Tom (völlig losgelöst) uit 1983, dat gebaseerd is op het door David Bowie in het nummer Space Oddity beschreven verhaal over een gelijknamig personage.
Maar de conclusie is dat Bowie mega veel artiesen geïnspireerd heeft en heel erg veel mooi werk heeft afgeleverd. De tribute bij Matthijs gaat door was geweldig.

Ik speel Heroes nog steeds waarin Christiaan Gouweleeuw de magic flute heeft ingespeeld op de looper. Christiaan was een geweldige muzikant die ondanks zijn vreselijke ziekte van Duchenne heel erg veel bijgedragen heeft aan het onstaan van de BowieShow. Christiaan is helaas inmiddels overleden maar hij is en was een enorme inspiratiebron voor deze tributeshow.
