Robert plays live music in a very special way and it sounds awesome but between songs he’ll explain how David Bowie worked. Who were his heroes? Who influenced the Thin White Duke. Believe it or not, it is not an annoying long story telling but a interactive way of gigging.
Do you know why Bowie sang “put on your red shoes and dance the blues” ? Do you know which artists are influenced by Bowie? Do you know which bands plays music from Bowie in their live sets? Who was the producer from Lets Dance? What was the clue of the eye patch in the Rebel Rebel video? Who were influenced by this video clip? What was Davids last recording before he died?
He’ll explain all about this so it is not only Bowie but sometimes a song or part of a song from other artists where Bowie had a relation with. Sure you’ll like it!
If you are a Bowie fan you must see this but if you are the partner of a Bowie fan and not a die hard fan you will like it too. To be honest, everyone will like it!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Robert recorded all the tracks and backing vocals on a looper. The sounds are equal and the quality is very very good. What is a looper would you ask. Ed Sheeran is a well known Looper user but he always plays his tracks live on a looper. This could be annoying if you just want to hear those fantastic songs Bowie once made. This is the reason why Robert recorded all the tracks on the looper in his own studio. This sound is unique, you won’t find a second “Robert”
On this link you can see someone in action on a looper. The big difference with this video is Robert uses real live drums and bass guitar which gives Roberts live performance a real live feeling and sound.
