David Bowie was a progressive musician or was he a artist?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no artist as versatile as Bowie ever was. At the time you think you were used to know him he suddenly changed into a totally different  person. He was always ways ahead of its time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davids career consisted of several decades. What about his \u201960ties beat period, \u201970ties Ziggy and the \u00a0Berlin Thin White Duke period, \u201980ties Nile Rodgers superstar period and the less appreciated \u201990ties. In the millennium years he came back with the Reality tour and 10 years \u00a0later with The Next Day and suddenly his passed away in 2016 but he left us with a fantastic album named Blackstar. In all those decades David voice changed continuously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honoring David Bowie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the time that I have been paying tribute to David Bowie, I have noticed that real Bowie fans love hearing renditions of Bowie’s music live, but no one really wants someone who frantically tries to imitate David’s Voice. That is also not possible. You need to squeeze out at least 6 or more different voices. The frenetic dance steps or disguises are also usually not appreciated by the usuals critical Bowie audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do i perform?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where the average musician uses proven instruments and musicians Bowie was always looking for something new. Also in this case. All songs are recorded by myself on a looper and the sound is fantastic (see on this video<\/a> someone working with a looper but the difference is, i don’t build up the songs live because that would be boring for the audience). Angie Young is regularly used for the bass guitar. If Bowie was still alive i wouldn’t be surprised if he would also make music this way. And after all, it is 2024, time for a different sound!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there was anyone who could combine music and modern technology it was David Bowie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
